According to the company, the system can clean up to 8,000 square feet.The unit also comes with a wide range of extras, including an installation kit, a connection kit (with two to choose from), and more. Plus, you can purchase additional accessories such as the VacPan which is useful if you have a large number of hardwood floors to clean.
The Hoover also comes with a five year warranty on the motor and a one year warranty on parts and labor. Finally, you have to consider the price. This central vacuum sells for just under $800 on the site and shipping is free.
Beam Serenity IQS
Another one of the best central vacuum systems on the market is the Beam Serenity from Electrolux. This product comes in two models. One has a waterlift capacity of 137 inches; the other can reach 140 inches.
The systems come with lots of choices, too. You can pick your own “Power Team” which refers to the hose and actual vacuum portion – the part you’ll use to do all of your cleaning. HEPA filter systems are also available at an additional price. More than a dozen other accessories are also available for purchase, including extended hoses and pet grooming tools.
One drawback is that the warranty is a bit confusing. Part of the system is under warranty for as long as you own your home. Other parts have warranties of between 7 to 10 years.
NuTone Model VX1000
The NuTone VX1000 system has a water lift capacity of 130 inches which is sufficient to clean most homes. The product comes with a number of extras, too. For example, it comes with a six foot long power cord for the user’s convenience. The system also has a light that senses with the bag is full and alerts you that it needs to be changed. It was also specially designed to be very quiet.
The power unit is covered by an 8 year warranty. Other accessories are available, including a power brush and tool kits for self-installation.
